A small story about a goal.

There was a teacher and 2 students, let’s say A and B. The teacher used to give different tasks to them and one fine day he made both A and B to write about their goals in a sheet of paper. Both A and B started to write for a while and when the teacher said ‘STOP WRITING’, the movement student B heard that he stopped at once. But the student A was still writing, by seeing this the teacher again said ‘STOP WRITING’ but the student A did not stop and this goes for a while where the teacher constantly tells him to stop but the student A did not stop writing until he completes it.

Moral:

The lesson to be understood here is that one should be confident about his or her goals and vision and should never stop until the destination is reached. Like wise there might be any kind comments coming and going in your life by society, if YOU are confident about what your are doing then you will surely achieve your desired goal.

Go ahead and make a change!

Hoping so this little effort of mine could help some great souls out there.

Thank you

The Man to Be Remembered Forever!

I’m proud to be writing about a man whose whole life journey is an inspiration for one and all.

Born on 15th October 1931, in Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu. He was born to a boat to a boat owner and a housewife, his parents name were Jainulabdeen and Ashiamma. He came from a financially poor background and used to distribute newspapers to support his family’s income.

He was a very simple person who owned a simple positions including a simple coat, a lungi, his beloved veena and books. He didn’t even had a television. He was a kind hearted man and his love for children was always evident. He motivated many to take up challenges and get successful in life.

In 1955 he joined the Madrass Institute of Technology and started aerospace engineering. His hopes of becoming a fighter pilot were dashed when he narrowly missed out on a spot with the Indian Air Force. He instead joined the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) as a senior scientific assistant in 1958. After moving to the newly formed Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in 1969.

In the year 1979 he was named as the project director of the SLV-III, the first satellite launch vehicle designed and produced on Indian soil. Thousands of people worked nearly 10 years but it was a failure which he had experienced for first time, on that time a great leader named Satish Dhawan thought him that when failure occurs the leader should take it up and when the successful occurs he gives to his team members

Returning to the DRDO as director in 1982, he implemented the Integrated Guided Missile Development Program. He then became the senior scientific adviser to India’s defense minister in 1992, a position he used to campaign for the development of nuclear tests.

He set a goal of conducting 500,000 one-on-one meetings with young people over the course of his five-year term. His immense popularity led to him being nominated by MTV for a Youth Icon of the Year award in 2003 and 2006. After leaving office in 2007, Kalam became a visiting professor at several universities. He formed the “What Can I Give Movement” in 2011 with the goal of creating a compassionate society, and in 2012, his efforts to improve healthcare led to the release of a tablet for medical personnel to use in remote areas.

Unfortunately On July 27, 2015, Kalam suffered a massive heart attack while lecturing at the Indian Institute of Management and subsequently died at the age of 83, but he us still alive in all his motivational quotes and inspiring speeches.

From a man who once sold newspaper in streets to becoming the Missile Man of India. He had clear vision and a mission,

he was the 11th President of India.

His birthday is celebrated as “Youth Renaissance Day”.

He was granted the Padma Bhushan (1981), the Padma Vibhushan (1990) and the Bharat Ratna, and many more awards in his life.

He is none other than “Dr. Avul Pakri Jainulabdeen Abdul kalam”

A.P.J Abdul Kalam

“Don’t take rest after your first victory because if you fail in second, more lips are waiting to say that your first victory was just luck.” -Dr. A.P.J. Abdul kalam

His life journey teaches everyone to believe in their hard work and become a strong and response citizens of the country.

I can proudly say that a man of simplicity was born in our country and he’ll always be one of the role model in my life!

Thank you
